It's lovely salt, I'm used to sea salt flakes, but true to description these are softer and easier to break into a sprinkle than others. Flavour is lovely, it's incredible as a finishing salt but I use it through the entire process of cooking. It really shines in baked goods. It's been in my salt pig for over a week now and no sign of dampness or any loss of crunch. I have a pinch pot sealing it and I filled a wee teabag of rice that I hang above the salt level but I'm not sure that's necessary-i just want to protect it because it's wonderful
