Loaded down in early May, with wet weather gear we took to the "Wild Atlantic Way" and arrived on the Achill Island. We had intended to visit the SeaSalt place. However we melted in the heatwave and had to return to our accommodation!
At home I ordered on line. Being old and decrepid I got the order the wrong way around sending the salt to myself and the invoice to my traveling companion. A quick email to Achill Island Seasalt followed an equal quick response saying not to worry they would sort it.
And they did.
In very quick time the salt arrived with my friend complete with a lovely hand written note. Wonderful.
As for the salt it is beautiful. Absolutely love the smoked one especially.

Love this sea salt! It’s so delicious and it reminds me of our visits to Achill Island every day. Classic is great, but the smoked and seaweed flavors are equally good.

Ever since getting some last year we use only it in cooking and baking. It has such a lovely natural taste that’s not over salty.
Bought the 75g jar in my local veg shop in Douglas Court SC, Cork. Great flavour and nice and crunchy. My favourite salt now. Am going to invest in the salt pig and pinch pot next. Great to support an Irish business too. Tá an salann sáile seo ar fheabhas. Maith sibh Clann Ó Máille.
