Our favourite Granola

Every granola needs Achill Island Sea Salt, and here's our favourite recipe! 
  • 300g oats
  • 100g Pumpkin/sunflower seeds
  • 100g Flaked Almonds
  • 100g Chopped walnuts/pecans
  • 50g desiccated coconut
  • 150g Raisins
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • Pinch of Achill Island Sea Salt
  • 1 tbsp coco powder (optional)
  • 3 tbsp oil -sunflower, coconut etc.
  • Juice of one large orange
  • 2-3 tbsp honey/maple syrup
  1. Preheat the oven to 200c
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl
  3. Mix together the oil, honey/maple syrup and orange juice together and pour into the dry mix.
  4. Stir until everything is evenly coated.
  5. If it seems too dry, add more oil. Too wet, add more oats.
  6. Spread on a baking tray and bake for 20-25 mins, stirring every 5 mins so it toasts evenly and to ensure that is isn't burning.
  7. Store in an air tight container for 2 weeks
